We made it to the end of the year! And what a year it has been. Between adjusting to a new baby, the process of buying/selling a house, and writing more than I ever have before, it’s been a busy 2017. The final two books I wanted to release in December have been delayed, but they are coming soon! They will both be out no later than January. They are both almost done, and I am hard at work on an outline for my next novel. Today, I was trying to work too fast and do too many things at once, and I DELETED Whirlwind from Amazon. So I have to spend today getting it back online. I just did another random giveaway to my newsletter subscribers- one of you just got a $25 Amazon gift card from me, so if you are a subscriber, check your inbox! Thank you for the support this year, and I hope to bring you even more content that you love in 2018.

I had a bit of an energy crash earlier in the week, so I’m behind schedule by a few days. Fortunately, I don’t anticipate the delay affecting my December release schedule. On Monday, Catch Me If You Can was released. It’s available now on Kindle. I also did a brief Q&A about the book with Love Seven Publishing, which you can read here. I’ve spent the entire day behind the computer working, and am continuing through the night. Hopefully, by tomorrow, I’ll be close to caught up. And I have a special announcement for you all next week, so stay tuned.

NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month) 2017 has been an epic success! During the month of November, I was able to complete the annual writing challenge and pen 50,000 words. Catch Me is in the final editing stages and will be released very soon. Over the next few weeks, if you don’t hear much from me, don’t worry. It’s not because I’m not working, it’s because I’m knee-deep reviewing edits so I can get a handful of books out in December. If you’re not signed up for my newsletter, please sign up! I’ll be doing multiple giveaways throughout the month.

After a busy summer, I’m trying to finish the year out with a bang. The universe is still against me, as my husband decided that he’s ready to move… like right now. Although we’ve been frantically packing/painting/house hunting, I’ve still been able to get tons done. I’d say the last three to four weeks have been more productive than the rest of my year combined. My goal is to publish up to FIVE books by the end of the year. I’m serious! That’s how productive I’ve been. Five is my goal- three are certain: my follow up to Honeymoon with the Stranger, Catch Me if You Can, and If Loving You is Wrong… Catch Me will be first. As I finished up ILYiW... I was struck by inspiration and just went with it. As a result, I’m almost done with Catch Me. In fact, I’m pretty sure I’ll finish today and get it sent to editing today. On top of that, I’m going to try to start using social media again, specifically, my Facebook page. We’ll see how that goes, though.

I’ve gotten a good chunk of words done over the last couple of weeks, although not as many as I would’ve liked. Still, progress is progress. In my head, I still expect to knock out 5,000 words of a book in one sitting, but I no longer have the peaceful and unobstructed hours I had before baby. In order to really get a lot done in one sitting, I need to wake up early in the morning, before the house is awake for the day- and that’s easier said than done… Still, I’m approaching the end of my latest book, which I can’t wait to share with you. It’s a super messy (and sexy) love triangle, and getting to the main character’s happily ever after has been a blast.

This week has been about finding balance between all of my projects. Gone are the days where I just write, publish, and get back to writing. I have more freelance projects, upcoming collaborations, work with The Niche Retreat team, and my writing (and let’s not forget, chasing after an 8 month old all day). At the end of the day, my writing is my priority, even though it may not always feel like it. For the first time, I’m on a strict daily schedule, and it has done wonders for my sanity and productivity. With everything going on, I haven’t worked on ILYiW… in about a month and a half. So this week, I focused on re-acquainting myself with the story. Next week, I should be able to get close to finishing it and get it sent for editing. Fingers crossed!
July 2, 2017
The past few months have been busy for me- and very little of it involved writing, unfortunately. On top of writing, I also do various freelance work, which I had a lot of recently. Great for my wallet, not so great for publishing books. The outside work is finally winding down, and over the last week, I’ve been getting back into writing. One cool thing I got to work on is helping with the creating of The Niche Retreat, a new website to help find new and undiscovered romance books. I wrote a bit about it here. In the meantime, I’m back to writing, a newsletter (with a new short story!) is going out next week, and July will have at least one new release- hopefully, two!

The Last Night, a romantic suspense, is now free for Kindle Unlimited or available on sale for $0.99 until Friday before it goes to its regular price of $2.99. With that out of the way, I’m back to work on ILYiW…, which will be released this month. The past few months have been a lot of editing, so it’s nice to finally get back to actually writing new content.
March 19, 2017
I’m hopped up on caffeine and thanks to said caffeine (and a whopping dash of insomnia), I haven’t been going to sleep until sunrise all week. But I’ve been working hard. And The Last Night is days away from completion. I expect it to be published by Friday at the latest. You can even read the first chapter: TLN Chapter 1!
March 12, 2017
Original Sin is now available for Kindle and Kindle Unlimited. The original plan was for me to go back to If Loving You is Wrong… after I completed Sin, but inspiration had other ideas. My next release will be The Last Night, and is coming this month!
February 26, 2017
Original Sin is done! Unfortunately, the cover is not. I’m still deciding my final look for the cover, which has proven to be harder than I’d anticipated. I’m nervous/excited about the release and want everything to be perfect, but I know I can’t obsess forever. My goal is to have it out for you all this upcoming week.
February 20, 2017
Editing and more editing. The past two weeks have been non-stop polishing for my upcoming release, Original Sin, part of my new Diamond Elite series. I’ve had no time for writing, but I am happy to say that Original Sin will be completed in time for its scheduled February release. Book two will be here in March, after I release If Loving You is Wrong…, which I can’t wait to get back to writing. I may not have had any time to add to the word count of ILYiW, but inspiration struck as I listened to one of my favorite random podcasts. The new development is going to make my deeply disturbed main character that much more complex. I can’t wait to share more information with you. Keep an eye out for a new release from me this week (or just sign up for my newsletter to find out first)!
February 5, 2017
Newsletter subscribers and beta readers have their copies of Take Me There, and wide release will be the middle of this week. Let Go and Whirlwind are now enrolled in Kindle Unlimited. And for a Valentine’s Day sale, ALL books are .99 cents for the week.
January 8, 2017
I’ve completed a book of erotic shorts that will be released in a week. Take Me There is a quick read, at about 20,000 words, and features the fantasies, or what-ifs, of couples from a few of my books you know, and a book that hasn’t been released yet. If you like reading straight erotica, you’ll enjoy these.

Happy New Year! After taking a hiatus this summer, I’m back with new works coming soon and a brand new website.
